Response Time

Data We Cannot Delete
Certain records must be retained even after a deletion request to comply with legal, regulatory, accounting, audit, or anti-fraud obligations. These include records of financial counseling sessions and Debt Management Plan enrollment retained under U.S. Department of Justice / Executive Office for United States Trustees requirements; records required by state credit-counseling licensing authorities; tax, accounting, and audit records required by federal and state law; and records required to defend or pursue legal claims.
Where we retain such records, we will delete or de-identify any personal data not strictly required for those legal-compliance purposes.
Data Deletion Requests from Social Media Platforms
If you previously interacted with APFSC through Facebook, Instagram, Threads, or any third-party platform integration and would like APFSC to delete data we received from that integration (for example, your platform user ID, profile name, or message contents stored on our systems), please follow the same procedure above and specify the platform(s) involved. We will delete the requested platform-derived data within thirty (30) days.
Verification
To protect your privacy and security, we may need to verify your identity before processing your deletion request. Verification information is used only to confirm your identity and respond to your request; we do not retain it beyond what is required by law.
No Retaliation
APFSC will not deny you services, charge you a different price, or provide you a different level or quality of services because you exercised your right to request deletion of your data.
